Introduction to Floristry Class
Saturday 15th August 2026
Service Description
Date: Saturday 15th August 2026 Time: 1.30 pm - 5.00 pm (2 places available) £150.00 The first in our Flower School series, this afternoon workshop is perfectly planned for budding florists who’d love an encouraging confidence boost as they step into the flower industry. We’ll cover the essentials you need to know, including branding, marketing, costing, and sustainability, plus my favourite tips and tricks—with plenty of time for questions. You’ll also learn how to condition flowers, create a hand-tied bouquet using the spiral technique, and wrap your work in a professional finish. Join us as a small, intimate group and immerse yourself into the wonderful world of floristry. What's included: Locally sourced refreshments will be provided in an informal and friendly space, with free parking onsite, expert tuition, all materials, and disable access. (You just need to bring yourself and your notebook) Please note: Workshops are non-refundable as all materials would be allocated to your booking. We kindly ask that you try and find someone to take your place or provide us with at least 4 weeks' notice so we can try and re-sell your spot. Thank you. Flowers may vary due to availability and season.
Upcoming Sessions
Cancellation Policy
Nettie of the Gorge floral workshops and floristry masterclasses here at the Ironbridge Gorge flower school are non-refundable as all materials would be allocated to your booking and your place secured. We kindly ask that you provide at least 4 weeks notice if you cannot attend, where an alternative date (subject to availability) or a transfer to a different workshop or class of the same value can be arranged. As a last resort we do ask that you look for someone else to take your place, where possible. Our workshops do require a minimum attendance in order to go ahead and to be viable and may be cancelled if too few bookings are received. We reserve the right to amend or cancel workshops. If we cancel a workshop we endeavour to give you at least one week's notice. You will have the option of transferring to another workshop/class or receiving a full refund of the fee. Most of the workshop payments are paid in full upon your booking, however some of our floristry classes are based on a deposit system to secure your place, with the balance due 3 weeks before the class date and will receive an invoice via email. In this case, deposits are non-refundable.
